Soft Biometrics Authentication

چکیده
This manuscript presents the design of a new approach human skin color authentication. Skin is one most popular soft biometric modalities. Since modality alone cannot reliably authenticate an individual, this system designed to combine results with other pure modalities increase recognition performance. In classification process, we first perform facial detection by segmentation using thresholding method in HSV space. Then, K-means algorithm clustering used determine dominant colors on pixels RGB model. Variations according R, G and B components are recorded reference model enable individual’s identity be predicted basis 30 clusters. Experimental promising give false acceptance rate (FAR) 29.47% rejection (FRR) 70.53%.

متن کاملVoice Biometrics for User Authentication
Voice biometrics for user authentication is a task in which the goal is to perform convenient, robust and secure authentication of speakers. In this work we investigate the use of state-of-theart text-independent and text-dependent speaker verification technology for user authentication. We evaluate three different authentication conditions: global digit strings, speaker specific digit stings a...

Multi-model Biometrics authentication system have mainly two authentication process, face identification and signature verification. Facial expressions are a valuable source of information that accompanies facial biometrics. Early detection of physiological and psycho-emotional data from facial expressions is linked to the situational awareness module of any advanced biometric system for person...
متن کاملSecure Remote Authentication Using Biometrics
Biometrics offer a potential source of high-entropy, secret information. Before such datacan be used in cryptographic protocols, however, two issues must be addressed: biometric data(1) are not uniformly distributed, and (2) are not exactly reproducible. Recent work, mostnotably that of Dodis, Reyzin, and Smith, has shown how these obstacles may be overcomeusing public informati...
متن کامل1 Multimodal Physiological Biometrics Authentication
The term biometry is derived from the Greek words ‘bios’ (life) and ‘metron’ (measure). In the broader sense, biometry can be defined as the measurement of body characteristics. With this non-technological meaning, this term has been used in medicine, biology, agriculture and pharmacy. For example, in biology, biometry is a branch that studies biological phenomena and observations by means of s...
